This collection was made to demonstrate various ways the BFG can be used
effectively. Many of us whom have played DooM for quite awhile now have
stumbled across these techniques, but many others still have no clue.

To view the demo, unzip all the enclosed files into your DooM 2 directory.
Next just type BFGTIPS and the batch file will take it from there (you will
have to hit enter during the openng screen however)

There are four (4) BFG tips included in the LMP as follows...

1)- Demo's how you aim at a wall, not at your enemy. This shows how the
flash is what really does most of the damage. The Green BFG Ball
will kill everytime, but only on a direct hit, and it's very easy to
dodge. Therefore, if you aim at a wall near you, the flash will come
into play that much faster. Your enemies have no time to get out of
    the cone-of-damage area.

2) Not a BFG tip, but this shows one way the Plasma Gun can be grabbed
without jumping off the lift next to it. You can also bump into the Plasma
Gun by starting with your back at the lift itself.

3)- This shows what you can do when being chased. Just fire a BFG shot
straight ahead of you and hit your reverse key. If your enemy gets in
your cone-of-damage area, he's dead. Especially since he should be close
to you. Remember, the closer he is when the flash appears, the more
    damage he'll take.

4) This shows the main misconception of the BFG, that you have to be looking at
your enemy. Your opponent actually only has to be in your cone-of-damage
area which always starts directly from where you are and goes in the same
direction that you were initially aiming when the BFG was shot. Of course,
during an actual death match you'll be aiming at a wall near you so normally
you'll be looking at your opponent but as you now see, that's not required.

5)- This shows the silent BFG trick. Just face a wall, press your space
bar as if to open a door, and immediately fire your BFG. The grunt from
pushing on the wall will cancel the sound of the BFG warming up. You
may have to practice the timing a bit as it's a quick 2-step process.
Comes in handy during a Death-Match if you want to surprise your
opponent. Just be wary of grunts from now on.

6)- The last demo shows the other BFG misconception which is that you have
to see the flash to kill with the BFG. As shown in demo 4, this isn't
needed but this demo shows how the flash can even be in different rooms.
As long as I keep the opponent in my cone-of-damage area, he'll be fragged!

Hope this helps anyone. Keep on DooMing!
